These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website www.velvetblossombeauty.co.uk and any services provided by Velvet Blossom Beauty (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or booking services through our website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Please read them carefully before using our website or booking any treatments. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or website.

Services Provided

​

We offer professional aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to facials, skin treatments, waxing, lash services, and cosmetology treatments. Detailed information about each service, including pricing, is available on our website or by contacting us directly.

Appointment Bookings

​

  • All appointments must be made in advance via our online booking system or by contacting us directly.

  • By booking an appointment, you confirm that you meet the age requirements (e.g., 16+ years) and provide accurate and truthful information about your health, including any allergies or medical conditions that may affect the treatment.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe your treatment could pose a risk to your health, safety, or well-being.

 

​Payment

​

  • Payments for services can be made through the online booking system or in-person at the time of service.

  • Prices for services are subject to change, but you will be notified in advance of any price adjustments.

  • All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor.

  • All booking will be secured with a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the rest payable at the time of the treatment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. You may be able to transfer your deposit to another date and time, within 3 months of the original booking date.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in you losing your deposit and subject to a 50% fee of the total treatment cost.

  • No Shows: If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged in full for the missed appointment.

  • Deposits - all deposits are non-refundable. The amount is £10 off the total treatment cost and is deducted from the full cost of the treatment. The rest is payable at the time of the appointment.

  • Late arrivals - if you arrive up to 10 minutes late for an appointment, we may still go ahead but a reduced treatment will be given. Over 10 minutes may result in the need to reschedule the appointment, depending on the treatment booked.

Client Responsibilities

​

  • You agree to provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, allergies, and any relevant health issues.

  • You must follow the aftercare instructions provided by your esthetician to ensure the best results and avoid adverse reactions.

  • If you feel unwell or experience any irritation during or after a treatment, please inform your esthetician immediately.

 

​Health and Safety

​

  • All treatments are provided in a safe and professional manner in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.

  • We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it could harm your health or if you fail to disclose important medical information.

  • A full health and safety risk assessment is available for you to view, and is reviewed every 6 months. This includes a policy relating to COSHH, which operates to negate any hazardous chemical risks.

  • Fire safety risk assessments are provided by the owner of the building. Clear instructions should be available to view on request.

Allergies and Reactions

​

  • We take great care to use high-quality products that are safe for most skin types. However, if you have known allergies or sensitivities, you must inform us prior to your treatment.

  • A patch test may be required for certain treatments, such as tinting or waxing. We will refuse to carry out the treatment if you decline a patch test.

 

​Privacy and Data Protection

​

We take your privacy seriously. For information on how we collect, store, and use your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

​

  • We will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the treatments provided, except where such injury or loss is caused by our negligence.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold Velvet Blossom Beauty harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your failure to follow aftercare instructions or disclosing relevant health information.

Intellectual Property

​

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Velvet Blossom Beauty and is protected by UK intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent.

Governing Law

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Insurance

​

Velvet Blossom Beauty is covered by both The Beauty Guild and BABTAC insurance policies. Further information can be found on their respective websites, along with all the information regarding Velvet Blossom Beauty's policies with them. Certification is available on request.

​

You are encouraged to request to see my credentials regarding insurance, as well as my licencing certifications. This means you can be assured that I am fully qualified to carry out the treatments available.

​

Changes to Terms

​

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. By continuing to use our services after such updates, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
